Sense of Adventure

My author’s copies of my newest Rogue Angel yarn, Secret of the Slaves, hit my front porch while I was off at Archon. If I’d known it was coming I could’ve asked them to ship me some to STL to give out at the con. Ah, well.

I don’t disapprove of the tattoo, not that it’d do me any good if I did. A bit surprising, but there it is. I do kinda like the tan lines they gave her.

On the whole I’d say it’s a pretty good cover (for a larger image, click here).

On Sunday, last day of the con, I got a chance to talk to Glen and Carol Cook, who are good people and who’ve been good friends for a long time - they put me up when I came in for one of my first Archons, a quarter-century or so ago. Along with being a demon writer, Glen Cook sells books in the dealers room. He told me my Rogue Angel books were selling well, and had me sign his remaining copies.

It’s good to know the books are doing well.
