Well, if you get a critical mass of fanboys, I hear "they" will start a line of letterjacket with your outline on it. :)

The Harvey letter jacket would've been awesome, and I definitely understand your reluctance to drop quite that much coin on it.

Create more fanboys? Aww, now, that'd just be a tragedy, wouldn't it?

Aww!
*squee!*
I got a lot of "Harvey" jokes too. And I almost got an outline of an anthropomorphic rabbit on the back of my letterman jacket. Y'know with the dotted lines to indicate that something is invisible under the my last name: Harvey. It would have been hilarious. But I wasn't willing to pay $200 for an inside joke and went with the drama masks instead.

And I'll pass along your compliment to Matt. Careful, or you are going to make a fanboy out of him! ^_~

Ms. Saraphina has many great things. Including, sadly (not for her, granted), a most excellent fiancé named Matthew. Who actually appears to be worthy of her. Which is saying plenty.

Sara does have a great last name (which happens to be my real first name). I think I heard as many rabbit jokes as she did mule jokes. On the other point - you can't go wrong with Clint in spaghetti-western mode.

I don't know. Either has its coolness potential. The crazy cat-lady in the San Francisco Victorian house could be pretty awesome cred for a supernatural romance writer, yes? And what's not to like about being named after a hooker with a heart of gold who impersonates a nun?

The mule jokes, now ... those might call for polite remonstration with a baseball bat. You know - depending.

I like the movie. It's a bit science-fictional, given the dramatic reliance on dynamite, which basically was patented (and probably not yet available for purchase overseas) about the same time the French intervention was collapsing, in May of 1867. In fact, Friday is the 141st anniversary of its patenting in England, if you're minded to celebrate (i.e., need an excuse.)

Still, it's Clint Eastwood in full-on spaghetti-western mode - Tsubaki Sanjuro with a six-shooter! - fighting the French flippin' Foreign Legion. How cool is that?

While Coogan's Bluff, which I recently saw for the first time, was a woeful waste of 93 minutes, I generally like Eastwood's flicks of the time. Kelly's Heroes is one of my all-time favorites....

I have seen that movie an awful lot.
My father claims that to be my namesake. He lies, I was named after some crazy cat-lady maiden aunt that lived in a rambling, broken-down San Francisco Victorian house.
Not sure which is worse, actually. ^_~

But yeah, Sara grew up with a lot of mule jokes.
