My notebook says it signs in fine to the wireless net, gets a good connection and a strong signal. But no Web and no email.
And of course I notice the problem right after 10 PM … when their office closes.
*Sigh* This is very disappointing. And dispiriting.
I may be doing something wrong, of course. What that would be I’ve obviously no idea.
Time to fire off my first email of complaint. Not a first I especially wanted to score today.
Who knew “too good to be true” would come to include stuff actually working?
Ah, well. At least Emma Dog and I enjoyed a lovely walk down by the RGNC preserve field around sunset. There are still Sandhill cranes here. Late in the season for that.

Now, this is odd. I find I can get DSL using the Ethernet cable. But I can’t get the notebook to connect to the wireless network now at all.
I didn’t change any settings that I’m aware of. I don’t understand this.
