So as periodically happens in the Spring, Albuquerque has been overtaken with a Moth Deluge. Mostly what I object to is the way the cats go into Total Instinct Mode, suppressing all individuality and judgement (such as they even have) and blasting around the house after the moths in frenzy fueled by rage at the cosmic [...] So, yeah. Well. Last night I made a scene at one of my favorite restaurants. It came to pass at Sadie’s, a long-time fixture of Albuquerque’s North Valley where I dwell – it’s just a couple miles north up Fourth Street from my humble abode. As we do every two weeks I went out to dinner [...] A a few years ago I found the best place in Christmas. It’s hidden. But I’ll share it with you. It’s a favorite event for me, since it truly kicks off my very favorite time of the year: Christmas! My best friend and I get stuck inside our favorite coffee shop by a police standoff across the street. Albuquerque Old Town Holiday Stroll & Christmas Tree Lighting, 6 PM 12-4-09: big fun. |
