… Slouches toward Burque to be born? Bubonicon 44, of course! And by “rough beast,” I naturally mean this entirely adorable Mayan Perry Rodent! Impending Apocalypse never looked so cute! I love that image! I wish it were on our official tee-shirt. I want it on everything. Since I can’t find a credit, I can but attribute it to [...] … To keep my attitude up. The good news? I’m feeling better today, after having been sick yesterday. The bad news? That’s relatively speaking. And entailed sleeping until a quarter past noon. Which nonetheless I badly needed to do. Plus – well, there are problems.
The cats aren’t eating, even their much-desired wet-food breakfast. Which may [...] Come see me at Bubonicon and I won’t do this*: Could happen! Or maybe I totally will. But it wouldn’t be the same without me. Certainly not for me. But Co-Chaircritters Craig [...] Bubonicon gets off to swimming start. Me, not so much. Bubonicon is coming. I’ll be there, along with a bunch of cool authors, artists, and fans. You should too. I’m lying on my bed in my own bedroom with my feet up, Squeak lying beside me on the bed, and TJ sitting on the bedside table, both conveniently located for Daddy to pet them. Which Daddy is happily doing; I missed them too. Meanwhile Bubonicon 41 Author Guest of Honor Michael Cassutt is on [...] Note: For some reason this page was totally breaking my blog when it tried to load. So I’ve deleted it. However, so as not to deny you my deathless account of life at Bubonicon 41, I’m reposting it, plus two stirring comments the post engendered before it apparently exploded in flames. Also added the [...] Bubonicon 41 was great fun. It had a lot of energy – a lot of very good energy. We had record attendance, I’m guessing as a relatively cheap form of entertainment and escape from the prevailing economic hardship. And I found it very hard to let go of it.
