Cats believe we exist to serve them.

Ferrets know we exist to amuse them.

(Note: I realized these things long ago. For some reason they came back to me a few minutes ago when my cat TJ was following me around, unaccountably making Wookiee noises.)

My Best Friend

Actually, that’s Joseph Reichert. I’ve known him about forty years now. That’s another story – or a volume. Maybe two.

What I was just moved to write about was my other best friend – or as I sometimes refer to him, “my best little friend.”

Squeak Logic
