First off, I’m awarding Victor’s Dinosaur Army Legion of Merit (the Dinosaur Army No-Prize) to Nancy Edwards, for conspicuous service in linkage and also ending me a suave dinosaur-bone fossil; and to our own Oliver Mellors, for repeated and continuing service above and beyond. Also we add to Victor’s Dinosaur Army Roll of Honor Roslee [...] Today we launch a new feature: An Adventurer’s Guide to the Dinosaurs of Paradise – a supplement to the free preview of my epic fantasy novel, THE DINOSAUR LORDS. Okay, my loyal Dinosaur Army, yesterday I tantalized and tormented you with the senses-shattering Prologue for my fantasy epic, The Dinosaur Lords. (You did read it, yes? If not, you really, really want to click here and go read it now. Really. We’ll wait.) Now we roll the story proper with Chapter 01. In which we introduce Rob [...] Passions, dynasties, and armies of dinosaur-mounted knights collide in the glittering, feather-decked Empire of Nuevaropa. When a Grey Angel, servant of the Eight Creators of the world called Paradise, launches a genocidal Crusade of a hundred thousand soulless zealots, can a fallen hero, a scoundrel, a philosopher-warrior, and an outlawed princess possibly stop them? THE DINOSAUR LORDS, my epic (in every way) fantasy novel, has gone out into the world! I wrote those sweet and wondrous words: The End. I just wrote The End to the big rewrite of my epic fantasy novel, THE DINOSAUR LORDS. Hooray! The contracts for my Seekrit Projekt just came in the mail! So it’s finally official. I’ll be writing a fantasy trilogy based on the ___ ________, from _______ ______ _____. The blanks can be filled in on or shortly after the first weekend in August, when certain announcements are made at ___ ___. Full disclosure. [...] I really intended to walk Emma Dog today. Even though I walked four miles last night with her Uncle Joe – which I’m pretty sure is the farthest I’ve walked since I got sprung. I felt up for it. Would’ve made it three days in a row, and eight miles in three days. Definite progress. And [...] Needed a way to rearrange scenes on rewrite. Got one – for now! |
